Cable assembly by our own production site
Cable assembly by a Dutch company, only at a different location. The availability of well-trained, specialized personnel in Slovakia guarantees high quality of cables, cable harnesses and assemblies.
The geographical location of the plant is also ideal from a logistical and cost perspective. This means that Confed can vouch for fast delivery and very competitive prices. Also at this location we work with 5S-lean techniques which enables us to assemble your wire harnesses in an extremely efficient and cost-effective way.

Confed has many years of knowledge and experience regarding cable assembly. Our customers like to involve us in the development of their cable design.
Here, the requested specifications are central. Issues such as relevant standards, EMC requirements and temperature, shock and vibration resistance are included in this phase. As well as the requirements for watertightness and chemical resistance.
Manufacturability, longevity and serviceability are also aspects that Confed considers when engineering your wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
Our techniques
The production unit in Slovakia is well-equipped with, among other things, fully automatic crimping machines, cut-strip machines and semi-automatic crimping presses. Furthermore, we have cutting machines, air presses, cable printing equipment and machines for stamping and screen printing of wiring. In addition, we are not only equipped for cable assembly. This location is also suitable for the soldering process.
If it is desired by your organization to pack products cleanroom, we make use of our dirt and dust free environment. This is where workpieces are cleaned and packed.
Guaranteed quality
We guarantee the quality of wire harnesses and cable assembly using fixed routings, work instructions and tooling (including test and lay boards). Our performance on quality is closely monitored and is transparent to our relations. If desired, this monitoring can be incorporated into regular reporting, together with performance on delivery reliability.
All cable assemblies are tested electrically as standard. Fully automatic cable testing equipment is available for this purpose.
We are also IS0 9000 and ISO 14000 certified, ROHS compliant and UL certified.
