Confed vestiging Dordrecht

Confed has three branches, each with its own functionality and specializations. The three branches are roughly equal in terms of staff size. Together the Confed team consists of about 400 enthusiastic employees. Each employee stands for the quality of his or her work, and together they are proud of the products and services we provide to our customers every day.

Serial assembly

In our Dordrecht facility, we assemble finished products and subassemblies to customer specifications in close cooperation with our customers. With a thorough knowledge of 5S-lean methods, products are assembled here in medium to large series. This work is largely done by people with a distance to the labor market. We are convinced that job satisfaction and appreciation are essential for everyone's well-being. We therefore consider it important and natural to contribute to a more inclusive labor market in society.

In 2017, Confed systems and Assemblypartner merged and continued under the name Confed Systems. The Dordrecht branch is the former branch of AssemblyPartner. This company was the privatized organization of the former electrical engineering branch of the social workplace Drechtwerk. We therefore have enormous experience as an organization focused on working with people who have a distance to the labor market. With a track record of more than twenty years, we perform electrical engineering work in close cooperation with our customers. Together we provide a good working environment for our employees and deliver great products with guaranteed quality and reliable delivery performance.

The Dordrecht facility consists of an extensive production facility focused on electromechanical assembly, a logistics department (warehouse and handling) and a small mechanical workshop. In consultation with our relations, we set up the product-specific lines necessary to efficiently and structurally produce complex assemblies in medium to large series. At the office, a small and flexible team takes care of the management and supervision of the employees, work preparation, detailed planning and quality control.
