Maatregelen Confed als gevolg van het Covid-19 virus 

In onze vestigingen in Dordrecht, Amersfoort en Komarno is een Corona protocol van kracht. Ontvangst van en bezoek aan externe partijen zijn tot het uiterste minimum beperkt. In principe lopen alle contracten via telefoon, Skype of andere vormen van telecommunicatie.

Intern volgen alle medewerkers de strikte maatregelen van het RIVM. Waar mogelijk wordt thuis gewerkt. Confed heeft de afgelopen weken geïnvesteerd in thuiswerk apparatuur voor de medewerkers die hier nog geen beschikking over hadden maar waarvan de werkzaamheden wel thuis uitgevoerd kunnen worden. Interne contacten zijn geminimaliseerd, mensen werken op ruime afstand van elkaar en kritische (productie) processen zijn zoveel mogelijk gecompartimenteerd.

Ook het transport tussen de verschillende vestigingen is geminimaliseerd om verspreiding te voorkomen. Dit houdt in dat er één keer per week een transport plaatsvindt tussen de vestigingen. Dit kan als gevolg hebben dat wij genoodzaakt zijn een levering uit te stellen indien het materiaal niet voor de transportdatum is geleverd. Wij verzoeken alle toeleveranciers daarom tijdig de materialen aan te leveren of vroegtijdig een vertraging te melden om verdere vertraging in het proces te voorkomen.

In de productie zien we op dit moment een verhoogd ziekteverzuim. Vooralsnog hebben we weten te bereiken dat dit weinig tot geen effect heeft op de leveringen van uw producten. Een van de oorzaken is de terugval van sommige klanten in de afname van producten. 

Helaas moeten we onderkennen dat we maar heel moeilijk een reële inschatting kunnen maken van de risico’s. Wij kunnen dan ook geen garanties verlenen over de situatie van de komende weken.

Grote schommelingen in de vraag hebben momenteel grote gevolgen op de totale supply chain vanwege de huidige instabiele situatie. De beste manier om hier mee om te gaan is om zo tijdig mogelijk en open te communiceren met alle partijen. Dit betekent dat wij intensief en pro-actief contact onderhouden met onze leveranciers en met onze klanten. Mocht u zelf een verandering zien in uw afname als gevolg van bijvoorbeeld vraaguitval of een hoger ziekteverzuim dan verzoeken wij zo snel als mogelijk dit aan te geven aan ons. Op deze manier kan de gehele keten van toeleveranciers het beste anticiperen op deze schommelingen. 

Wij zullen wekelijks contact met onze klanten en leveranciers hebben. Belangrijke ontwikkelingen aan de zijde van Confed zullen vroegtijdig gecommuniceerd worden.

A Corona protocol is in effect in our facilities in Dordrecht, Amersfoort and Komarno. Reception of and or visiting external parties are limited to an absolute minimum. All contacts go through telephone, Skype, Teams or other forms of telecommunication.

Internally all employees strictly observe the measures as advised by the RIVM, the governmental health and safety organization of the Netherlands. If at all possible our employees work at home. Confed has invested the last few weeks in equipment for those employees whose work can be done at home but who didn’t have the equipment to do so. Internal contacts have been minimized, employees work at the appropriate distance from each other and Critical processes have been compartmentalized.

Transportation between the facilities has also been minimalized in order to prevent unnecessary spread. This implies that transportation is carried out once a week between the facilities. This could affect delivery times. For this reason, we’ve requested all our suppliers to keep the requested schedules or to inform us at once should a delay become evident.

In our own production facilities we encounter a higher absenteeism than normal. Up till now were able to manage that this hasn’t affected much the deliveries of the planned orders. One of the factors in this process is that some of our customers have experiences a decline in their order intake.

Unfortunately, we must admit that it is very hard to make a realistic estimate of the current risks of the situation. This makes it impossible to state any guarantees regarding the situation for the coming weeks.

Hefty movements in the order intake have great influence on the total supply chain because of the current unstable situation. The best way to manage this process is to communicate as open and prompt as we can possibly do with all parties concerned. This means that we will proactively contact all parties in order to monitor closely all possible foreseeable fluctuations in demand or supply. Should you yourself encounter a decline or rise in order intake, production capacity or otherwise we kindly urge you to inform us as soon as possible. By doing so the whole supply chain can anticipate on strong fluctuations in the best possible way.

We shall contact our customers and suppliers on a weekly basis. Important developments on the side of Confed will communicated to you promptly.
